More detailed retouching, distracting-object cleanup, and targeted corrections. Complexity determines what can be achieved.
Restoration — from $60 per photo
Careful work on faded or damaged photographs, including scratches, spots, creases, and tonal recovery where the source allows.
Starting prices are for one image. Every photo is reviewed individually; you receive a written quote based on condition, detail, and requested changes. No editing begins until you approve the quote and payment is received.
How it works
1. Request a quote
Email a description of your photo, the number of images, and the changes you have in mind using the quote link below. Start with a description only. Ask for a private upload link; the upload method will be confirmed in reply before you send originals.
2. Personal review & written quote
I review your image manually, discuss realistic results, and confirm the scope, price, and estimated delivery date. Keep your original file or print safely backed up.
3. Approve & pay before editing
Once you approve the written quote, payment is arranged before editing begins. A quote request does not place an order or charge you.
4. Private digital delivery
Your finished image is delivered digitally through a private delivery link. No in-person meeting is required.
Turnaround
Timing depends on the condition of the photo, the number of images, and the current queue. Your quote will include an estimated turnaround after payment and receipt of usable files. Mention any deadline when you inquire; rush availability must be confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
Can every photo be restored?
Some blur, missing detail, and heavy damage cannot be fully recovered. I will explain the limitations before you decide. Restoration is an interpretation, not a guarantee of historically exact missing details.
What should I send?
Keep the original untouched. A clear, high-resolution scan or original digital file gives the best starting point. Avoid screenshots and compressed social-media copies when you have a better file. Please do not mail irreplaceable prints.
Can you remove a watermark?
I do not remove copyright marks or edit images you do not have permission to alter.
Will I receive a print?
This service provides a digital image. Any printing, additional versions, or extra work must be agreed in the quote.
Can I ask for changes?
Describe your goals at the start. The quote will confirm the included work and revision scope; additional requests may need a separate quote.
Your photos, your permission
You retain your existing rights to your images. Only submit images you own or have permission to reproduce and edit, with consent from people pictured where required. Requesting a quote does not transfer ownership.
Images are used to review and fulfill your request. Your images and before/after comparisons will not be displayed publicly or used in the portfolio without separate permission. Share only the images needed for the job; do not include identity documents or unrelated private information. Ask about file retention and deletion before sending sensitive family photos.
Editing tools and approach
The editing approach will be confirmed during review, including any proposed AI-assisted reconstruction. Any use of external processing tools for private images must be discussed before editing.
